He leads the enterprise practice at Shasta Ventures and invests across a range of sectors including enterprise software, SaaS, cloud and consumer services. As a partner at Shasta, Jason has been an active investor in cloud computing, with an emphasis on next-generation applications, systems management and open source software. His previous investments include Makara (acquired by RedHat) and iConclude (acquired by Opsware).
