Dr. Hubert Zajicek is a Co-Founder and serves as Partner and Chief Executive Officer at Health Wildcatters. Prior to forming Health Wildcatters he was managing director of medical technology at NTEC. At NTEC he was responsible for the medical technology program where he reviewed, evaluated and advised hundreds of startup companies. He oversaw the construction of NTEC's state-of-the-art 50,000 SF building and managed the facility including its roughly 10,000 SF lab space. During his tenure he created MedVentures, the Southwest's largest medical technology investment conference, whose presenting companies raised a combined $274M in funding. Dr. Zajicek has over ten years of experience in the life sciences. Before joining NTEC, he was on faculty at UT Southwestern Medical Center where he was an NIH-funded Principal Investigator. His areas of research included Nephrology and Cell Biology with a focus on membrane transport and membrane composition. His interests extend into biophysics, fluorescence and imaging techniques. He authored and co-authored over 15 scientific articles, more than 30 presentations at national and international meetings and 2 book-chapters.

Edward Kliphuis joined the previous biopharma fund MS Ventures in 2014 and transitioned to Investment Director New Businesses. Previously, Edward was at Kempen & Co, a pan European merchant bank headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where he worked in the Life Sciences Securities team. He was instrumental in the team’s continuous fundraising efforts for listed European small and mid-cap biotech companies in over 20 deals in 2012 and 2013. Edward started his career as an intern / analyst within the MS Ventures team in 2009, before venturing out of Life Sciences to accept a position as trader within a global oil-supply company in Geneva. Mr. Erlich started the Technology Incubator Program that led to the creation of 24 Incubation Centers throughout Israel. Mr. Erlich was instrumental in the establishment of several bi-national industrial and technology R&D cooperation agreements with Canada, France, the Netherlands, Singapore and Spain. Mr. Erlich was the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the US-Israel Bi-national Industrial Research and Development Foundation (BIRD), and a Director of the Dead Sea Works, Israel Chemicals, Israel Oil Refineries, Hadassah's commercialization company - Hadassit, and the Technion Research and Development Co. Ltd. Mr. Erlich was the Deputy Chairman of the National Reasearch & Development Council of Israel until 2010 and the Chairman of MATIMOP, a non profit Government Entity for the promotion of industrial R&D; A Board Member of the Russian Venture Capital Company (RVC), a $1 billion government fund of funds and was a consultant to several governments including New Zealand, Korea, Canada, Latvia, Slovakia and estonia. Between October 2010 and June 2011, Mr. Erlich was the chair of a committee within Eureka program, targeting new methods for financial innovation. He also participated, several years ago, in two EEC projects for transferring the success factors from the Israeli experience in high-tech start-ups to several European countries and advised the World Bank on the adoption of policies and performance monitoring in Venture Capital in Western China. Mr. Erlich holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemistry and an MBA from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
