Purpose :: Over the last 20 years, I have supported 10 early stage nonprofits, funded 100 early stage startups, crafted patent applications for 500 early stage startups, taught 750 engineering students at Stanford University, and advised the Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Michigan which provides experiential learning for 1000s of engineering students. It took me an embarrassingly long time to connect all of these dots, but I now understand that my purpose on this planet is quite simple: to empower entrepreneurs.
