David Weekly serves as Product Manager, Rapid Rollout at Alphabet. The team's mandate is to create new tools, technologies, business models, and datasets that change the economics of planning, building, and deploying high speed Internet everywhere. Their customers are both internal to Google and external.
David also leads the Google Crisis Access Response Team (GoCART) to rebuild communications networks after a wide-scale emergency and have represented Google to the Congressional Subcommittee on Emergency Preparedness. In addition to his work at Google, David is the founder of Neuron.VC and drone.vc, the world's first drone focused investment fund, using an AngelList syndicate to invest in early-to-midstage unmanned civilian aircraft companies and related key technologies and services. David is also an official Mentor for a few incubator programs, including InnoBlue, Women 2.0 Labs, 500 Startups, Founder Institute, and i/o ventures. Notably, David was the founder of Mexico.vc, Silicon Valley's first seed program for Mexican-based Internet startups, in 2011. He served as General Partner for the fund.
