Description

AboutI'm passionate about entrepreneurship. I have always gravitated to small projects and highly motivated teams working on cutting edge new projects. Having started my career in the early nineties, I've witnessed multiple technology shifts and economic cycles in the Venture Capital industry. I've learned that great companies take patience to build and I've developed an enormous respect for the founders who have the courage and tenacity to make their dreams into realities. Menlo Ventures provides long-term capital and management support to early-stage and emerging-growth companies. Menlo is one of Silicon Valley's oldest venture capital partnerships, and has organized and managed sixteen venture funds since their inception in 1976. With over $6 billion under management and a team with over two hundred years of collective experience in technology, marketing, sales and general management, we have the resources to support the most ambitious projects.

How to connect with Angel Investors in the Logistics industry?

In the Logistics & Distribution industry, angel investors such as Tim Ferriss, Jason Calacanis, and Chris Sacca are significant figures. These investors focus on startups offering innovative solutions in supply chain management, logistics technology, and distribution services. Tim Ferriss, an author and entrepreneur, invests in logistics startups that leverage technology to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Jason Calacanis, an early investor in Uber and Robinhood, looks for disruptive logistics solutions with strong market potential. Chris Sacca, founder of Lowercase Capital, seeks out startups that provide scalable and impactful logistics and distribution solutions. To connect with these investors, attend logistics conferences, supply chain expos, and networking events such as CSCMP EDGE, LogiMAT, and Supply Chain Summit. Utilize platforms like AngelList and LinkedIn to identify and reach out to potential investors. When pitching, emphasize how your logistics solution addresses key challenges, such as optimizing supply chain operations, enhancing delivery efficiency, or reducing costs. Highlight any traction you’ve gained, such as partnerships with logistics companies, user growth, or positive feedback from clients. Building relationships through initial informal meetings or discussions at industry panels can help establish trust with these investors. Demonstrating the impact of your technology or service through case studies or pilot programs can also add credibility. Personalize your outreach by referencing the investor’s previous investments and explaining how your venture aligns with their interests. Demonstrating a sustainable business model with clear revenue streams, such as subscription fees, licensing, or service contracts, will further strengthen your pitch. Leveraging endorsements or case studies from logistics experts can also enhance your credibility.
