Ver Capital Sgr, established in 2006, is an independent fund management company that concentrates on European credit products. They have an investment team with many years of experience in credit products and a strong specialization in corporate debt. Ver Capital offers investors focused exposure to various strategies in the European corporate debt sector through high-yield and investment-grade, senior and subordinated corporate bonds, corporate loans, and senior and subordinated leveraged loans. They operate through a dual platform, comprising closed-ended funds that mainly invest in the private debt sector, such as leveraged and corporate loans, and open-ended funds (UCITS IV-compliant sub-fund of a Luxembourg SICAV) that target European high-yield corporate bonds. As part of the Sienna Investment Managers Group, Ver Capital operates across five main verticals: Euro High Yield, Euro Loans, Private Debt, Special Situations, and Energy Transition. The senior management at Ver Capital has been working together since 2006 and has considerable experience in liquid credit products and illiquid strategies including private debt and infra-equity. Their long track record over several economic cycles since the global financial crisis of 2008, exemplifies their distinct approach to investing which is based on fundamental analysis. This is supported by a completely in-house team of analysts. The firm caters to an institutional client base consisting of insurance companies, pension funds, banks, family offices, and funds of funds. Ver Capital is also a PRI signatory that incorporates ESG factors into investment decisions and has launched one of the first Article 9 SFDR funds.
