Solid Ventures is a venture capital firm headquartered in the Netherlands, primarily focusing on providing equity growth capital to scale-up technology companies in the Netherlands and Colombia. Established in December 2005 as the successor to the 300M NeSBIC Converging Technologies Funds created in June 1997 by Robert Wilhelm, Solid Ventures builds upon a strong foundation of more than 30 years of experience in the venture capital industry. Leveraging deep networks with successful serial entrepreneurs, strategic partnerships with M&A and Corporate Finance advisory firms like IMPROVED Corporate Finance and Drake Star Partners, and ties with local venture capitalists and family offices, they excel in sourcing proprietary deal flow and co-investing in high-potential tech growth companies. The firm does not invest in early-stage start-ups but rather targets scale-up companies that exhibit minimum recurring revenues of €1M in LATAM (€500K), demonstrate at least 50% annual growth, and possess a robust platform technology, along with multiple innovative products and an emerging international corporate customer base. Investment commitments range from €750K up to €5M for minority stakes, exclusively for companies with headquarters in the Netherlands or Colombia. Solid Ventures boasts a strong track record, including over 100 investments, more than 50 strategic exits, and several Initial Public Offerings (IPOs).
