What is Ryerson Futures?

Ryerson Futures, now operating under the name DMZ Ventures, is a Toronto-based accelerator and venture capital fund that supports the growth and development of innovative tech startups. Founded in 2012, they specialize in providing seed stage financing and strategic consulting with a focus on solving technology problems and delivering solutions.

As an affiliate of Toronto Metropolitan University, DMZ Ventures plays a crucial role in managing a startup portfolio consisting of startups that are part of DMZ's Incubator program. With a mission to empower startup founders from day one, they aim to build strong foundations, forge vital connections, and achieve remarkable growth across a global innovation landscape. Their investment strategy includes venture capital funding for high-potential pre-seed and seed-stage tech startups, particularly B2B SaaS companies.

DMZ Ventures typically invests between CA$100k and CA$250k, primarily in Canadian startups, but they are also open to investing globally.
