Monitor Clipper Partners (MCP) is a private equity investment firm formed in 1998 by The Monitor Group, a leading group of advisory businesses, and the Clipper Group, an experienced private equity investment firm. The firm seeks to make private equity investments in middle-market companies in North America and Europe. MCP makes both control and minority investments in a wide range of transaction formats including management buy-outs, recapitalizations, and growth equity investments. MCP currently manages over $1.7 billion of capital in 35 companies and has invested over $825 million since making its first investment in February 1999. MCP targets equity investments of $10-$70 million per transaction and has no industry preference. The group also maintains offices in Canada, Luxembourg, and Zurich.
