About The Fund

Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P) is an impact investing group headquartered in Paris, France. Since its inception in 2002, I&P has been dedicated to financing and supporting startups, and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Sub-Saharan Africa. They have pioneered a unique approach to meet the financing and support needs of African SMEs through four complementary lines of activities: I&P Acceleration, I&P Development, I&P Expansion, and I&P Ecosystems. Their mission revolves around financing, advising, and promoting entrepreneurs and SMEs that are often overlooked by investors despite their high growth potential and significant impact. They aim to contribute to the emergence of a strong entrepreneurial fabric on the continent, essential for sustainable development and social cohesion in Africa. I&P's vision includes raising 500 champions of entrepreneurship in Africa by 2030. Over the years, I&P has established itself as a prominent figure in impact investment, committing to an in-depth methodology to track and maximize their partners' impact through objectives and advocacy tools. They have supported more than 200 SMEs across various industries, including BioTech, Hardware (& Manufacturing), and CleanTech, spread over twenty different countries in Africa. With 22 years of activity, I&P boasts 180 collaborators, partnership with 330 enterprises, and has raised 400 million euros. They also manage a blog called Entreprenante Afrique with research articles, shared experiences, and testimonials to promote entrepreneurial momentum in Sub-Saharan Africa and provide insights into the African entrepreneurial landscape.
