Finance Yorkshire offers seed-corn funding, business loans, and equity-linked investments, targeting companies operating across diverse industries such as IT, Media, BioTech, Hardware, Manufacturing, Material Science, Medical Devices, Life Science, and Oil & Gas.

Finance Yorkshire's latest initiative is their new investment fund aimed at driving growth and development for eligible SMEs across Yorkshire and Humber. More than £50 million will be invested over five years, expanding the firm's influence and portfolio of successful legacies.

Past endeavors include the Finance Yorkshire JEREMIE and Extension Funds, which invested £113 million in over 500 companies, and the South Yorkshire Investment Fund’s £57 million investment in over 360 companies. Finance Yorkshire's funding options are designed to cater to a wide range of needs, offering micro-loans for startups or small businesses looking to scale-up, and larger business loans aimed at more established companies.

Growth Fund loans and equity investments primarily target SMEs with transformative business models or those looking to penetrate new markets. Seedcorn funding focuses on newer or pre-revenue companies developing innovative or disruptive technologies, especially in the technology and knowledge-based sectors.
