Evolution Media Capital (EMC), part of CAA Evolution, is a merchant banking firm founded in 2008 with the backing of Creative Artists Agency (CAA), a prominent Hollywood and sports talent company. EMC specializes in providing investment banking services within the sports, media, and entertainment industries. EMC operates as a joint venture between CAA and M.

Klein & Company, creating a partnership that melds global reach and Wall Street expertise. Their integrated advisory and investment platform has been instrumental in financial advisory since its inception, fostering innovation through an informed legacy and successful track record.

The partnership boasts a collaborative force, establishing industry foresight alongside financial acumen to guide clients through a dynamic landscape.

EMC engages in principal investing and offers advisory solutions across a wide spectrum, including M&A, corporate strategy, capital markets advice, sell-side and buy-side execution, capital raising, activism defense, capital structure analyses, IPO/SPAC advisory, restructuring, capital allocation strategies, and strategic advisory.

With a media rights advisory practice, EMC negotiates media deals globally, servicing clients such as leagues, federations, conferences, and teams. They have negotiated over $100 billion in media rights transactions, with notable clients including the NHL, MLS, Southeastern Conference, and PGA TOUR, among others.

Evolution Media Growth Partners, a subset of EMC, was created as a partnership with TPG Capital. This entity focuses on investing in emerging media and entertainment companies, committing at least $100 million to this effort.

The minimum and maximum investment amounts are both $30 million, reflecting their targeted investment size.
