Energy Trust Partners (ETP) is a private equity firm focused on the energy sector, particularly in the upstream oil and gas market in North America. ETP understands the unique opportunities this segment offers, particularly under current market conditions, where there is less competition and a broader exit market to larger strategic and financial buyers. Their investment strategy includes partnering with high-quality oil and gas operators and employing a combination of 'lease and drill' as well as 'acquire and exploit' transactions. ETP exclusively focuses on control investments, with individual portfolio investments typically ranging from $25 million to $75 million, although they have the capability to invest up to $80 million.
