What is Scale Investors?

Scale Investors is Australia's premier angel investor network with a focus on empowering exceptional women entrepreneurs. Established in 2013 by a group of forward-thinking women, Scale Investors aims to bridge the entrepreneurial investment gender gap by offering sophisticated angel investors the opportunity to bolster innovative, gender-diverse teams during the early stages of startup development.

The organization is dedicated to investing in women-led ventures at the pre-seed and seed stages. Their investment thesis is grounded in the belief that gender-diverse startups make for stronger investments.

To date, engagement with over 1500 founders, 300+ Scale Angels, and a portfolio exceeding 40 companies showcases their commitment to fostering diversity.

Scale Investors also provides a suite of educational programs, Scale EducatEd, including FoundEd, EmpowerEd, and InvestEd, designed to educate and empower individuals at various levels of the investment and capital-raising process. In a landmark move, Scale Artesian's Female Leaders VC Fund, with a commitment of $45M from cornerstone institutional investors, targets Series A and B investments, emphasizing women-led and co-led startups across Asia Pacific. They encourage access to capital through initiatives like their 'Connect to Capital' segment and a podcast hosted by Catherine Robson, chair of the Scale Investors board.
