What is RevUp Capital?

RevUp Capital is an investment fund focusing on non-dilutive funding for early stage companies in the B2B and B2C spaces, particularly those that are journeying through the $1M-$10M growth curve. They aim to support companies by preserving founder equity, optionality, and autonomy, while providing hands-on support to build stronger, scalable infrastructure for growth.

RevUp Capital invests into companies that are active in the market with the potential to grow to $10-15M in revenue and currently generating $500K to $3M in annual revenue.

Their investment strategy prioritizes customer-focused and revenue-driven businesses with a clear path toward profitable growth. The fund is particularly supportive of founders from diverse backgrounds, including women, black and brown founders, first-generation Americans, and those based outside major metropolitan areas or in rural geographies.

Since 2016, RevUp has adopted a non-equity investment model, investing into a broad spectrum of companies with at least 60% of their investments in companies with one female founder and 30% in companies led by black or brown founders.

The fund's investments typically range from $150,000 to $250,000, with a sweet spot of around $200,000, focusing on the Pre-Seed and Seed stages. RevUp selects for investments on a rolling basis through a pre-screening form available on their website.

The fund is led by Allan Tear and Melissa Withers, who bring extensive experience in building and investing into over 130 companies. They bring a unique understanding of the challenges and opportunities along the $1M-$10M growth journey and work closely with each portfolio company, supported by the full-time RevUp Growth Team.
