What is Graviton?

Graviton is a Nordic investment firm with a multi-stage approach to investments and corporate finance services. Founded in 1999 by Johan Lundquist and two partners, Graviton's initial foray into the investment world was marked by the establishment of their first Venture Capital fund, Alpha One, in 2000, managing a commitment of 43 million Euros.

The firm's investment focus encompasses a wide array of sectors within the technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) domain, as well as the software industry, which includes web services, marketplaces, and SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions. Additionally, they entertain opportunities in the media sector, along with other industries on a case-by-case basis.

Their specialty lies in early-stage investments, although their scope also covers special situations such as distressed turnarounds and management buyout/leveraged buyout scenarios (MBO/LBO's).

Out of their portfolio, Graviton actively manages board of director positions in four holdings while maintaining ten holdings overall.

Graviton's team brings to the table a wealth of experience ranging from startup founding, investing in early-stage and expansion phases, to holding executive positions in both private and public companies. As of today, Graviton operates as a family office focused on management, with Johan Lundquist leading as the principal.
