La French Tech is a French government initiative aimed at promoting and accelerating the growth of the French startup ecosystem, both domestically and internationally. This public policy initiative, which is based in Paris, France, functions as an accelerator and is focused on enhancing the coherence of public actions in favor of startups. As an administration attached to the Directorate General for Enterprise within the Ministry of Economy and Finance, La French Tech collaborates with over 60 public organisms, ensuring a strong connection with other essential public sector bodies. La French Tech's core mission includes the promotion of the French startup ecosystem, as well as providing comprehensive support and nurturing to startups through personalized programs and a global network of French Tech hubs. The investment fund operates with a clear emphasis on information technology and TMT (technology, media, and telecom). Their operational strategy includes various support programs such as French Tech Next40/120, French Tech 2030, French Tech Tremplin, and French Tech Central, as well as fostering the French Tech label across a network of 115 labeled structures known as French Tech Capitals and Communities, both within France and abroad. French Tech Capitals serve as national relays, while French Tech Communities in France and internationals aggregate volunteer entrepreneurs who promote the ecosystem. The French Tech initiative offers a suite of programs designed to support French startups in creating future solutions. These include the French Tech Next40/120, dedicated to the rapidly expanding French startups; French Tech 2030, in partnership with the General Secretariat for Investment and Bpifrance; and French Tech Tremplin, promoting equal opportunities for entrepreneurs from underrepresented backgrounds. Additionally, La French Tech showcases its dynamic ecosystem through numerous events and has an extensive reach via social media and newsletters, ensuring engagement and dissemination of information across multiple channels.
