HP Tech Ventures is the venture capital arm of HP Inc., established in 2016 and headquartered in Palo Alto, California, United States. They focus on making strategic investments and partnerships with innovative startups in disruptive technology areas with an aim of reinventing the future through transformative technologies. HP Tech Ventures specializes in nurturing an ecosystem of innovation that will define the world and experiences of tomorrow.

They target a variety of sectors including Software (Web Marketplace SaaS), A.I. and Big Data, Gaming and eSports, Robotics, Nanotechnology, and companies with a focus on women.

HP Tech Ventures shows a particular interest in technologies such as AR/VR for training and hardware, biometrics sensors and analysis, gaming enhancements for user experience, broadly applicable AI Edge solutions like predictive analytics and computer vision, as well as data science tools that address supply-demand imbalances and enable leveraging AI for a wide range of professionals.

They are not interested in studios and publishers. Their investments typically range from $1 million to $5 million, with a sweet spot of around $2 million, covering stages from Pre-seed to Series B.
