Golub Capital, established in 1994, is a leading direct lender and credit asset manager with a primary focus on middle-market companies. They specialize in providing a variety of financing solutions, including subordinated debt, last-out and second lien senior debt, and minority equity capital.

With a managed capital pool of $8.0 billion, Golub Capital targets both privately held and publicly traded companies predominantly in the United States.

Their investment approach is notably selective, as they typically avoid sectors such as high technology, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications infrastructure, oil and gas exploration, re-lending, and passive real estate. Investments generally commence with companies that possess a minimum operating cash flow of $5 million. The firms' investment range is quite flexible, with initial outlays between $28 million to $675 million per issuer and capabilities to provide additional capital for growth.
