DTI Capital was established to provide a different approach to investing in private equity. By matching capital with investments on a transactional basis, and by not charging management fees to investors, the firm feels its interests are aligned with those of its Investor Partners and management teams. DTI Capital typically invests in cash generative businesses that have sustainable competitive advantages. DTI usually invests $5M-50M of equity per transaction, and invests its own capital in each deal alongside the firm's Investor Partners. DTI invests across multiple geographies and industries, though its focus is on Technology, Financial & Business Services, and Energy opportunities across the U.S. and Europe. DTI can buy all or part of a company; can inject equity to help recovery; can invest equity to fund organic growth; can finance acquisitions; and can facilitate personal and family ownership transitions.
