Consorcio de Desarrollo Economico Colaborativo, also known as Colaborativo, is an accelerator and impact investment firm focused on promoting sustainable development through entrepreneurship, innovation, technology, and impact investing. They aim to invest in seed and early-stage tech startups that are addressing complex challenges and contributing to sustainable development, particularly in emerging markets, developing economies, and underserved communities. Founded in 2012 and based in Mexico City, Colaborativo primarily targets sectors such as artificial intelligence, big data, analytics, robotics, and blockchain technology. As a part of their accelerator program, Colaborativo offers a 24-week online program that includes daily communication and support, weekly mentorship and training, monthly milestones, and investor days. They provide fundraising and leadership training with an option for startups to raise up to USD $2 million in funding. Furthermore, startups have the opportunity to join the Sustainable Development Action Network to access a global community, media exposure, global partnerships, and events. They also have exclusive corporate and government partnerships, supporting entrepreneurs with more than USD $2 million in company and personal benefits.
