Wentz has co-founded multiple enterprises including Mountain Point, a cloud technology consulting firm, and CentralApp, a software development company. Additionally, he founded Stonewall Energy, an exploration and support holding company.

His previous roles include serving as the Executive Chairman of Allegheny Science & Technology, supporting mission-critical R&D efforts for the Department of Energy and Intelligence Agencies.
