Investinor is a Norwegian state-owned venture capital firm based in Trondheim, focusing on creating value in a variety of industries. It supports the growth of promising enterprises in conjunction with entrepreneurs and other investors with the aim of making selected businesses world leaders. The firm specializes in early-stage investments, notably at the Seed, Series A, and Series B development stages. Investinor operates with an investment range between 100,000 to 5,000,000, with an investment sweet spot at around 1,500,000. It has a diverse investment portfolio including but not limited to Software, IT and TMT, Media, BioTech, AgroTech, Hardware and Manufacturing, Energy, IoT and Wearables, CleanTech, A.I. and Big Data, HealthTech and Fitness, Impact Investing, Material Science, Medical Devices and Hospital Services, Healthcare and Wellness, Mobile, Mobility, Consumer sectors, and also invests in venture funds. They are focused on sustainable investing and look to build the industries of tomorrow. As of the second quarter of 2023, Investinor manages a significant capital pool of 6.9 billion NOK and has engaged in 97 investments in portfolio companies and funds. It is an influential player within the Norwegian and broader Nordic venture ecosystems, collaborating with 60 co-investors, and is directly responsible for 600 companies through fund investments and asset management. In total, Investinor's investments with co-investors amount to about 22 billion NOK. The team consists of 34 employees. Investinor actively communicates its financial insights, hiring efforts, and strategic exits such as that of SpinChip Diagnostics, thereby showcasing their operational and strategic prowess within the industry.
