Barayamal, known as Australia's Indigenous Business Accelerator, is a world leader in Indigenous Entrepreneurship. The name 'Barayamal' translates to 'Black Swan' in Kamilaroi language and symbolizes the overlooked innovation and capabilities of Indigenous entrepreneurs in the business world, analogous to the black swans that Europeans had not noticed prior to 1697. Barayamal's mission is to elevate the role of First Nations entrepreneurship in contributing to a better future that adheres to the values of Indigenous communities.
