What is Algo.Land?

Algo.Land is an autonomous algorithmic trading blockchain fund that facilitates participation in trading algorithms while providing token holders with control over the fund. Through the use of an Ethereum smart contract, the fund decentralizes its structure and allows for governance through community voting. Their investment thesis revolves around utilizing profitable algorithmic trading strategies that engage with highly liquid markets, including Forex and Indices.

Algo.Land emphasizes the integration of trading programs with smart contracts to create a transparent and efficient management system for a common investment account, which entails risk management and profit distribution. With their own native token, known as the Algo, investors can partake in profit sharing with minimal costs due to the blockchain-based framework. The Algo token can be sold anytime on cryptocurrency exchanges, offering liquidity to participants.

Algo.Land operates by having assets deposited in US dollars with a broker account, and a trustee ensures these funds are secure for trading activities. The fund's smart contract allows for various participant-led propositions, such as adjusting trade sizes or redistributing profits without selling tokens.

Algo.Land further reduces operational costs by avoiding traditional financial intermediaries and brick-and-mortar setups. The fund's financing comes from token sales, wherein 100% of the inflow serves as trading equity, while 20% of the trading profits are reserved for programming and administration.

The remaining 80% belongs to the pool's participants. They ensure fund security through a Swiss lawyer and a reputable ASIC regulated broker, FxOpen from Australia.

Algo.Land operates legally within Swiss regulations by functioning as an investment club with a closed group of participants and complies with all local laws.
