What is Able Partners?

Able Partners is a New York-based venture capital firm dedicated to investing in early-stage companies in sectors such as mental health, aging, women's health, addiction, coaching and learning, sexual wellness, self-expression, childcare, and overall wellness. They focus on supporting passionate entrepreneurs who are creating visionary consumer brands in the health and wellness arena to promote positive living and enhance the daily lives of consumers.

Their mission is to make consumers' lives healthier, happier, and more meaningful. The firms are particularly interested in companies that are narrowing the Wellness Gap — a growing disparity highlighted by increased economic indicators like GDP per capita, while physical and mental health measures have stagnated or declined. Able Partners invests in areas like Health, Wellness, Nature Connection, and Clean Market.

They offer a range of investment amounts, with a minimum of $100,000, a 'sweet spot' of $1,500,000, and a maximum of $5,000,000. Their specialties include Early and Later Stage VC, Seed, and Series A funding.

The Able Partners team is comprised of experienced investors and entrepreneurs, including co-founder Amanda Eilian, who has a strong background in consumer companies, served as President of Videolicious, and co-founded a successful SPAC, and Lisa Blau, who specializes in health and wellness investments and has extensive entrepreneurial experience in the sector.

Partner Alison Ryu brings over a decade of experience in investing in consumer brands, and Chief of Staff Claire Akkan supports consumer businesses and is a Fulbright scholar.
