What is 2B-Community?

2B-Community is an impact venture capital fund that specializes in early-stage and seed investments. Founded in 2016 by Yoel Cheshin and Shahar Botzer, with Eli Arkin and Judith Adler later joining the management team, they focus on growing mission-driven businesses with a high potential for scalability.

With $10M under management and eight investments to date, 2B-Community plays a pivotal role in fostering robust business models and positioning startups for future funding. Their investments are geared towards companies that demonstrate strong leadership and a commitment to creating conscious organizations with a clear impact purpose.

2B-Community invests across three main themes: supporting Israeli society through innovations that address local challenges with global applicability, adapting to the future of work by investing in companies that facilitate education and inclusive employment in the face of disruptions like globalization and technological advances, and building strong communities that leverage their collective economic power to catalyze social progress.

Additionally, 2B-Community is instrumental in the development of Israel's impact ecosystem and actively participates in global impact networks such as TONIIC, Nexus, and the Jewish Funders Network (JFN).

The fund also established 2B-Hub, a coworking space in South Tel Aviv that serves as the central home for Israel's impact community, hosting events and offering mentorship to promote social impact. The 2B-Community is part of the 2B-Group, encompassing also 2B-Angels, a venture fund investing in high-growth technology companies, and 2B-Friendly, an NGO committed to social and environmental consumerism improvement.
