Seed-stage AI applications (for me *personally*; as a firm, we are far broader). As a firm, we have a fairly strong interest in highly technical founders (75% of our companies have at least 1 PhD founder) and founders who are able to seamlessly operate between the US and China (65% of our companies have at least 1 Chinese founder). Neither of these interests are "filters", though (ie., it is not required).

As a firm, we do not invest in any B2C or crypto businesses. We also tend to avoid anything that has not product or data advantage (ie., businesses that are purely business model innovations or marketing/ sales/ execution driven).

We love investing at the intersection of consumer and biotech -- in brands that have science at their core. We look for CPG brands that are using novel actives, materials, packaging, etc, to solve everyday problems for the consumer. We love unsexy categories and taboo issues -- things like eczema and home pest control. We believe that clinical evidence is an asset. We look for brands that are better for human health and better for the environment.
