We’re Bringing Founders and Investors Together in London

Since launching Angels Partners, our focus has always been the same: helping startups connect with the right investors.

Over the years, that has allowed us to build relationships with thousands of founders, angel investors, venture capital firms and other members of the startup ecosystem. Most of these interactions happen online. Founders use the platform to identify relevant investors, investors discover new opportunities, and introductions are made every day.

As the community has grown, one thing has become increasingly clear. While technology makes introductions easier, many of the strongest relationships are still built in person. Some of the most valuable conversations happen after a meeting, over coffee, during a networking session or through a recommendation from someone in the room.

For that reason, we decided that it was time to organize our first event in London and bring part of the Angels Partners ecosystem together physically.

On July 16, we will be hosting a Founder & Investor event at Barclays Innovation Hub powered by Eagle Labs.

To make sure we could bring together a strong group of founders as well as investors, we are organizing the event alongside Startup2Standup, a founder-led community that has built an impressive network of entrepreneurs and business owners across the UK. Bringing together the Angels Partners investor ecosystem and the Startup2Standup founder community felt like a natural fit.

The objective of the event is simple: create an environment where founders, investors and experienced operators can meet, exchange ideas and build relationships that continue beyond a single afternoon.

The programme includes contributions from Ian Fishwick, Chairman of Airband and three-time UK CEO of the Year, alongside representatives from Barclays Innovation Hub, Vestd, Brown Rudnick and Angels Partners.

The event will conclude with networking and investor introductions, giving attendees the opportunity to continue discussions and connect with other members of the ecosystem.
