What is Zone Startups India?

Zone Startups India is a Mumbai-based startup accelerator that is integral to the Ryerson Futures network, a global ensemble of accelerator programs operating under the brand Zone Startups. Established to facilitate and foster international accelerator programs, Zone Startups India acts as a conduit, creating avenues into varied markets for startups from different geographies, aiming to bridge the entrepreneurial ecosystems of India and North America.

With a strong focus on technology-oriented companies, the accelerator specifically invests in sectors such as Software, including Web Marketplaces and Software as a Service (SaaS); Information Technology and Telecom Media Technology (IT & TMT); Hardware and Manufacturing; as well as Internet of Things (IoT) and Wearables.

Since its inception in 2013, Zone Startups India has grown to support over 550 startups, constructing a robust support ecosystem encompassing services, mentors, corporates, and investors.

This comprehensive 360-degree approach is geared to bolster startups across all stages of their lifecycle. Zone Startups India prides itself on not just local, but global integration, leveraging networks beyond India's borders.

Through its acceleration programs, including ZSINurtery, Next BIG Idea, empoWer, and various others, Zone Startups India propels startups to fulfill their potential, contributing to substantial job creation and capital fundraising. They have an outreach comprising over 2000 job creations, 2400+ Crores in raised funds, a network of 40+ investors, 50+ mentors, 11 corporate partners, and they deliver 20+ business support services.

The accelerator is housed at PJ Tower on Dalal Street, and they are staunch believers in offering infrastructure, industry access, business development, mentorship, and client relationship support to their portfolio companies. Their varied programs, such as C-DOT's Avishkar Program and SAMRIDH AcceleratHER, target areas including RegTech and cross-border FinTech solutions, demonstrating their commitment to addressing diverse fields and startup needs.
