Sahlgrenska Science Park is an incubator based in Gothenburg, Sweden that actively supports and invests in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare sectors. As a subsidiary of the Sahlgrenska Biomedical Innovation Centre, their mission is to enhance the competitiveness of West Sweden's life science industry. Through initiatives such as the CO-AX Accelerator, Health Innovation Labs, and various Project Partnerships, they aim to drive health innovation and foster collaborative endeavors that have the potential to transform the future of healthcare. The CO-AX Accelerator program is open to innovative startups and scaleups that are interested in developing technology solutions that benefit health and can be applied in different settings, from hospitals to daily life or even in groundbreaking areas such as aerospace. By offering mentorship, workshops, and networking opportunities, Sahlgrenska Science Park enables these businesses to grow and extend their impact. In collaboration with Akademiska Hus, they have established a shared lab and office co-working facility, providing startups with access to research equipment and business support to help them achieve their goals more efficiently. Sahlgrenska Science Park also engages in catalyzing partnerships, organizing workshops, matchmaking events, and seminars that allow companies to connect and engage in projects collaboratively.
