What is Nebraska Angels?

Nebraska Angels is an angel network founded in 2006 with the mission to support local economic development and build the entrepreneurial community in the Greater Midwest Area of the United States. They connect Midwest entrepreneurs with accredited angel investors to enhance the region's startup ecosystem and facilitate economic growth.

With headquarters at 2100 Third Avenue North, Suite 600, Birmingham, Alabama, the network specializes in providing various forms of funding, including Debt, Equity, and Mezzanine, tailor-made for different stages of a company's lifecycle: Seed, Startup, Early Stage, Expansion, Later Stage, MBO/LBO, Acquisition, Recapitalization, and Distressed Debt.

Their investment criteria target a broad range of industries, such as Software (including Web Marketplace and SaaS), IT and TMT, Education, BioTech, Business Solutions, Hardware and Manufacturing, Energy, CleanTech, and Material Science. As a member-led angel network, Nebraska Angels offers a platform where investors can become members to access resources, deal flow processes, and investment opportunities.

Entrepreneurs seeking angel investments have access to resources on preparing pitches and understanding valuation, as well as guidance through the fundraising process.
