What is Slava Ventures?

Slava Ventures is a Silicon Valley-based investment fund that specializes in pre-seed and seed-stage investments, focusing primarily on talented Ukrainian teams that work in the realms of Artificial Intelligence (AI), deep technology, and cybersecurity, as well as the future of work sector.

They aim to bridge the gap between the Ukrainian tech ecosystem and major tech hubs such as Silicon Valley and Europe by leveraging their comprehensive understanding of these areas. The fund invests between $100,000 and $5,000,000 with a sweet spot of around $1,500,000 in emerging companies that demonstrate the potential to address significant challenges.

The team at Slava Ventures includes experienced professionals with a strong background in corporate development, M&A in the tech, media, and telecommunication sectors, and significant expertise in founding and investing in early-stage Ukrainian AI and deep tech companies.

General Partner Marianna Bonechi, who possesses over 14 years of experience in corporate development and M&A, shares her time between Menlo Park and Vienna, bringing a global perspective to the fund. Principal Alex Gureev brings a unique blend of entrepreneurship, software engineering, and product management to the team, as well as Alex Ravski, who as an Associate of the fund, combines his venture capital, corporate, and M&A attorney experience to advise startups. Slava Ventures plays a pivotal role in supporting first-time founders, seasoned entrepreneurs while contributing to the growth of the emerging market ecosystem.
