What is Humaning?

Humaning is an investment fund that focuses on early-stage investments, particularly in the seed and Series A rounds, within the software industry, including niches like Web Marketplace, SaaS, and other related areas. They are known for their commitment to being the very first believer in first-time technical founders, allowing them to foster innovation and entrepreneurship from the ground up.

With a portfolio that includes more than 20 startups, Humaning has established itself as a proactive supporter of emerging tech companies. The fund is spearheaded by Cory Levy, an entrepreneur and investor with a substantial track record, which includes founding First Text and Z Fellows and co-founding After School, a teen social network that reached approximately 20 million users before being acquired by Ancestry. Cory Levy's achievements have been recognized in lists such as Forbes 30 Under 30 in Consumer Technology and Dorm Room Founders.

Furthermore, he sits on the Board of Directors for the international non-profit organization, DoSomething.org. His experience includes internships at well-established entities like Founders Fund, Union Square Ventures, and TechStars, and he studied Computer Science at UIUC.
