What is ChileGlobal Ventures?

ChileGlobal Ventures is an investment fund operating under the umbrella of Fundación Chile, specifically within its Venture Capital area. They focus on fostering innovation and supporting the growth of dynamic, technology-driven startups that are committed to making a significant impact both nationally and in Latin America.

With investment amounts ranging from a minimum of $100,000 to a maximum of $5,000,000, ChileGlobal Ventures often finds its sweet spot at around $2,500,000. Targeting industries such as Software, Biotech, AgroTech, CleanTech, A.I. & Big Data, and Retail & E-commerce, the fund is keen on contributing to sectors of high potential and interest for the country.

Their specialties lie in investments at the Pre-Seed and Seed stages, with a strong focus on Latin America.

ChileGlobal Ventures operates with four fundamental pillars to power entrepreneurship: Impact Finance Network, where they invest in startups developing impactful innovations; a robust mentor network experienced in various fields with a strong passion for entrepreneurship; the Club CGV, which brings together strategic service providers for the community; and effective linkage models connecting large corporations with innovative startups via open innovation and radical collaboration methods.

Through the ChileGlobal Angels Academy, they provide tools for traditional investors to immerse themselves in venture capital and support disruptive startups, thereby strengthening the angel investment ecosystem.
