What is Betaspring?

Betaspring, operating under the brand RevUp Capital, is a venture capital fund specializing in non-dilutive funding for early-stage B2B and B2C companies that are in the market and poised for growth. Unlike traditional venture capital, RevUp Capital does not take equity in the companies they invest in.

Instead, their investment thesis focuses on helping companies grow their revenue from $500K to $3M toward $10-15M while preserving founder equity, optionality, and autonomy. Their unique approach combines capital injection with hands-on support, aiming to build a stronger, more scalable infrastructure for growth.

RevUp Capital's investment model has been consciously designed to transcend the limitations often experienced by companies that don't fit the typical VC profile of chasing unicorns and outsized exits. This includes actively investing in founders who are women, black or brown, first-generation Americans, or those building businesses outside major metro areas and from rural geographies.

Approximately 60% of RevUp investments have gone to companies with at least one female founder and 30% into companies with a black or brown founder.
