Benjamin Horowitz is a Co-Founder and serves as General Partner at Andreessen Horowitz. He also serves as a Board Member at United Masters, Sisu, Okta and Magnet Syste He was a co-founder and CEO of Opsware (formerly Loudcloud), which was acquired by HP in 2007 and was appointed vice president and general manager of Business Technology Optimization for Software at HP. Earlier, he was vice president and general manager of America Online's E-commerce Platform division. Previously, he ran several product divisions at Netscape Communications. He also served as vice president of Netscape's widely acclaimed Directory and Security product line. Before joining Netscape in July 1995, he held various senior product marketing positions at Lotus Development Corporation. He also serves as Board Observer at Gainspeed. He has a BA in Computer Science from Columbia University and an MS in Computer Science from UCLA. He serves on the board of many companies including Foursquare, SnapLogic,Tidemark Systems and Databricks, Jawbone, Lytro, Magnet Systems, Nicira, 3dna, Tidemark, medium & SignalFuse. He is also the Co-Founder of usermind. He also serves as Advisor at A.Capital Ventures.

Jon joined Norwest Venture Partners in 2009 and brings more than 23 years of investment experience to his role as one of 3 managing partners responsible for running the $9.5B AUM firm. Based in Palo Alto, Jon runs the growth/private equity practice and is focused on investing across a wide range of sectors, with particular interest in data, software, internet and consumer companies. Prior to joining NVP, Jon was a Director at Goldman Sachs, where he headed the San Francisco office for the firm’s Special Situations Group. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Jon spent nearly 10 years at TA Associates in Menlo Park, a private equity firm with $33B+ in capital under management. During his career, Jon has worked with such companies as 1010data, 5.11 Tactical, Appriss, Asurion, Avetta, Babcock Jenkins, Circle Graphics, Clarus Commerce, Classy, CoreLogic (CLGX), Cority, FreeShipping.com, Galvanize, Infutor, Logistics Health, Manta Media, The Rainmaker Group, SRS Acquiom, The Retail Equation, TogetherSoft, Topo Athletic, Turnitin, Van Moof, Voyant Technologies, Vuori, WebSideStory, Wine Access and YipitData. Earlier in his career, Jon spent two years at Leo Burnett USA, a global advertising agency, where he headed strategy development and campaign management for several Fortune 500 companies. Jon obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Harvard College where he was a member of the Varsity Swim Team.

Heather Redman is a Co-Founder and serves as Managing Director at Flying Fish Partners. She serves as Advisor at 9Mile Labs. Redman also serves as a Board Member at Beneficial State Bank. Previously, Redman served as Vice President, Business Operations & General Counsel at Indix. She was Senior Vice President at Summit Power Group and Executive and Senior Vice President at each of AtomShockwave, Inc., Getty Images, Inc., and PhotoDisc, Inc. While at PhotoDisc and Atom, she led the negotiations for the successful sale of these companies and negotiated many acquisitions on the buy side. She was also General Counsel of Getty Images, a publicly traded company, and managed that company's listing on NASDAQ. Her career has had equal parts business and law, and has included heading product development and acquisition for Atom, wind power development and project financing for Summit and COO positions. She is experienced in corporate development and finance, business development and intellectual property strategy. She is a consummate networker. She serves as the Vice Chair of the Washington Technology Industry Association board and the Chair of the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees. She has served on the boards of several privately held companies and many industry associations and non-profit companies as well as on numerous advisory boards. She is active in local and national policy and politics. She is also an investor and Advisor in TechStars, 9 Mile Labs, Founders' Co-op, Alliance of Angels and makes approximately ten of her own independent angel investments per year. She is also a Regent of Washington State University (WSU). She holds a JD (with distinction) from Stanford and her BA from Reed.
