Nicole Glaros serves as a Partner at Techstars. He is an Angel Investor. She is an entrepreneur and has been mentoring, supporting, and investing in entrepreneurs for over 15 years. Nicole got her entrepreneurial start in the 4th grade, orchestrating cousins into theatrical plays and charging neighbors admission. While earning her masters degree at the University of Florida, Nicole co-founded a tech startup that retailed products to the property management industry. It was there she developed her lifelong passion for supporting tech entrepreneurs. She took her learnings of how to scale and applied it to CTEK, an incubator in Colorado supporting tech startups in 2002, before accelerators existed. She helped grow CTEK from 1 to 5 offices across the state, and was an early catalyst in developing the startup ecosystem in Colorado. Most recently, she is the Chief Innovation Officer at Techstars - a global network and investor in early-stage web software companies. She's been with the company since it's earliest days, yet has been instrumental in its growth from one office in Boulder, CO to a global powerhouse, featuring investment offices in 18 cities worldwide, events in over 500 cities globally, with $265M in capital under management and a market cap of over $5B. Through Techstars she's invested in over 90 startups, most of which she still supports to this day. In addition to her role at Techstars, she's also on the board of Pana. Previously she's been on the boards of Owlet, the Application Developer's Alliance, Simple Energy and Pledge1Percent Colorado, She was named one of the Coolest People in New York Tech and an Extraordinary Woman in New York Tech by Business Insider, Marie Claire named her one of the NewGuard, and Entrepreneur Magazine named her One of the Most 7 Powerful Women to Watch and featured in the Denver Business Journal. Julie is a co-founder and Managing Partner of the Urban Innovation Fund. The Urban Innovation Fund is a venture capital firm that invests in transformative urban technology. Previously, Julie co-founded Tumml, an urban ventures accelerator. During the last three years, Tumml has incubated 33 startups, who have raised $37M+ in funding and launched products/ services for over 2.2M people. Her work in urban entrepreneurship has been featured in numerous press outlets, including CNN, TedX, Forbes, and The San Francisco Chronicle, among others. Julie has an MBA from MIT Sloan and a BA from Stanford.
Boris Silver is a Co-Founder and serves as President, Venture at FundersClub. Prior to starting FundersClub, he was founder and CEO of Sport Interactiva, a leading fantasy sports gaming company on Facebook (sold to Citizen Sports and acquired by Yahoo!). He was named an Ambassador of Entrepreneurship by Wharton, serves on the Board of Advisors to a venture backed technology company, and is an advisor to First Round Capital's Dorm Room Fund. Previously, he worked at Bunge, a global agribusiness, in their Commodity Trading and Risk Management program. He has been named to the Forbes 30 under 30 in Tech and to Silicon Valley's 40 under 40. Boris graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and is also an alumnus of Y Combinator.
Saeed Amidi is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer at Plug and Play Tech Center. He also holds the position of General Partner in Amidzad. The fund has been investing in technology companies for over 15 years and holds successful investments in over 70 technology companies, some of which are: PayPal, Powerset, Danger, Bix, Powerset, DropBox, Lending Club, Zoosk, etc. A serial entrepreneur and a seasoned executive with over 28 years of experience in founding, operating, and growing successful companies. He has successfully started and grown businesses both nationally, as well as internationally, in countries like: Spain, Germany, France, and Austria. Saeed's current passion is inspiring and helping entrepreneurs and startups out of universities. His objective is to identify great entrepreneurs with a passion to execute on their ideas. Saeed is an active member of the technology community and a frequent contributor to numerous charitable foundations. He is also an active member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), a world-class network of Fortune 500 CEOs, accomplished serial entrepreneurs, and veteran financial executives. Geoff Judge serves as Advisor at iNovia Capital. He is also the Board Member at Collective. He serves as an Advisor at Transactis. A Co-Founder of 24/7 Media, he guided the company to a public offering in August 1998. 24/7 was later acquired by WPP in 2007 for $649MM. He was at iMarket prior, where he was the CMO. He spent 9 years at American Express in the Card Division in several roles including VP and GM, Travel & Corp. Insurance Group. He was an investor in IndustryBrains (sold to Marchex), on the Board of Fetchback (sold to GSI), Oggifinogi (sold to Collective) and current board member of Global Cash Access (NYSE: GCA). He's a Founding Board Member of Children for Children, and a Trustee for the Sacred Heart School in Manhattan for 6 years. He served as Advisor at ClickFacts. He is also an Angel Investor.
