Dr. David Chen serves as Venture Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners. David focuses primarily on investments in the mobile, Internet, and software sectors. Before joining Lightspeed, David was a product manager on the Facebook growth team. Previously, he was co-founder and VP Product of Triangulate, a venture-backed startup using social media behaviors to drive algorithmic matching. Prior to Triangulate, David served in product management and engineering roles for Admob and Digital Chocolate. In addition, he worked at McKinsey on strategic engagements with technology companies. David received his Ph.D. in Science, Technology, and Management from Harvard Business School and Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and his M.S. and B.A. in Computer Science from Harvard.
